In this workshop you will learn the fun and easy art of making your very own soy candles. You will go through the process of choosing your wax, wick and container; melting, pouring, curing; plus working with fragrances. You’ll also learn how to hand-dip candles and make your own to take home.
Learn to knit:
Have fun crafting with wool together at this class. Children can pick from a range of activity stations, depending on their interests and skill level. Some of the options include finger knitting, learning to use a french knitting spool or starting a small knitting project. No previous knitting experience is necessary.
A little bit silly, a lot fun. You may have seen knitted graffiti around over the past few years. This is your chance to have a go. Choose to make something for your own home or neighbourhood. Yarn bombing is also way for knitters to work cooperatively on a project, so you may like to team up with other class members to create a piece of knitted street art together. And of course, as much as we’ll have fun, we’re going to do everything we can to help your knitted graffiti look its very best.
Dandelyne™ is about small scale embroidery projects that are satisfying, rewarding, soul boosting and frankly, just look so darn cute. Using the miniature embroidery hoop to frame your designs, you can choose to capture precious things and stitch them as a keepsake of that moment – stitch an initial, stitch a drawing, stitch a line, stitch a face. The options are endless and so are the stitches. In this class you will learn basic embroidery techniques and complete a mini hoop of your own.
Liberty Print Button Frame:
They’re not just for clothing or home decorating. Think hair ties, earrings, bookmarks, magnets, brooches, necklaces. Fun to use, and super versatile, we’re crazy about fabric covered buttons…especially when they are combined with the tiny designs of Liberty of London print!
In this class you’ll choose your colour hue, and cover 16 buttons to put in a white shadow box frame. This makes a beautiful- high quality gift, or decoration for your bedroom.
